1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using StockValueAI ("Service", "Platform", "we", "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

StockValueAI provides automated stock valuation analysis using DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), FCF (Free Cash Flow), and revenue-multiple methodologies. The Service is designed for educational and informational purposes to assist users in conducting their own investment research.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account using Amazon Cognito authentication. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Subscription Terms

4.1 Free Tier

New users receive 3 complimentary analysis credits upon registration. These credits do not expire but cannot be transferred or refunded.

4.2 Credit Packages

Additional credits may be purchased through our payment processor (Stripe). Current pricing:

  • 3 Credits: $2.99
  • 10 Credits: $7.99
  • 50 Credits: $24.99

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Each stock analysis consumes 1 credit.

4.3 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our Service, credits are generally non-refundable once purchased. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical issues that prevent service delivery. Please contact support@stockvalueai.com within 7 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our express written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Service Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StockValueAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Open Source Components

Portions of our valuation algorithms are open-sourced under the MIT License at github.com/waltermvp/trading. These components are subject to their respective licenses.

6.3 User-Generated Analysis

Analysis reports generated using the Service are provided for your personal use. You retain ownership of any investment decisions made based on these reports. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to view, save, and print analysis reports for your personal use only.

7. Disclaimer of Investment Advice

StockValueAI is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial advisor. The information provided through the Service is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice.

All valuations, analyses, and content are provided "as-is" without any warranties. You should not construe any such information or other material as legal, tax, investment, financial, or other advice. Nothing contained on our Service constitutes a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer to buy or sell any securities or other financial instruments.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STOCKVALUEAI, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT WILL STOCKVALUEAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID STOCKVALUEAI IN THE LAST SIX (6) MONTHS, OR, IF GREATER, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

9. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data, analysis, or content provided through the Service. Stock data is sourced from third-party APIs (including Polygon.io) and may be delayed or contain errors.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including:

  • AWS Amplify (infrastructure and authentication)
  • Amazon Cognito (user authentication)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Polygon.io (financial data)

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
